We had another fun filled weekend with some football and a trip to the Pumpkin Patch! Molly LOVED going to the Beaver Game yesterday. She was in a great mood the entire time! She even started clapping when other people clapped and (almost) doing the “O” when our side cheers!! Here is a short video:
Today we took advantage of the sunny weather and took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch!! Molly was much more fun this year than last! If you remember, last year she slept through most of it….and we propped her up on some pumpkins for the photos!! This year she LOVED the slide, the goats, the horse, and specially the donuts!!! Despite two heartbreaking losses in the last two weeks, we are still Beaver Believers. Molly has been to both games, and she has been such a good girl. Lots of snacks helps!! Also, lots of passing between Mama, Daddy, Grandma & Auntie! Here are some photos:

Well, I have been back to work now for a couple of weeks! This is my first full week with kids. As many of you know, I am teaching morning Kindergarten this year. The first week and a half with inservice days was pretty crazy. I had to work full time because of all the meetings I had to go to as well as getting my classroom set up. Also, Molly got sick on the SECOND day I was back to work! Matt and my mom had to take turns watching her. She had a fever and a sore throat, and it was so hard to leave my baby girl when she didn’t feel well. We made it through! Now, I get to work half days and pick Molly up at 12:30, which is great! I love my school and my students. It is good to be back! Molly seems to be adjusting to daycare very well. She loves the kids and the provider. In fact, where she used to cry when I left her, now she waves “Bye” to me with a smile in the mornings! On the flip side, she doesn’t really want to go home with me at 12:30, but would much rather stay and play with her friends!
I haven’t posted pictures in a while, so I thought I would post one from Janet & Jim’s August visit. Here is the whole Hughart crew!! Including one very proud Uncle Scott who just graduated from Paramedic School! Yay Scott!
Also, Matt just had a birthday on Monday! We celebrated on Sunday with a hike and of course, Olive Garden for dinner! Here are some pictures from our hike. If you can’t tell, I was practicing my photography on a couple of the best subjects around!
Yesterday we had Molly’s 1st Birthday Party!! Grammy & Grandpa from Houston were here to celebrate along with many other family and friends. It was a great day! Thanks to all of you who helped make Molly’s birthday so memorable!!! Here are some pictures and a video to tell the story:
